The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 20) being the first education policy of 21st century proposes the revision of all aspects of the technical education to create a new system of education. This Conference will be a milestone in the journey of the 21st century’s education system and it is expected to provide momentum for the implementation of NEP-2020 in higher education Institutes. There are many issues and challenges related to implementation of NEP 2020 like interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary institutions, holistic education, flexible curriculum, vocationalization of higher education, Indian knowledge system as an integral part of all Higher Education (HE) programs. This conference provides a platform for academicians, administrators, Policy makers and researchers from around the nation to present their current work in this area.
The objective of this conference on “Implementation of NEP 2020 in Technical Education - issues and challenges” is to encourage and foster discussions among teachers, administrators, policy makers and Researchers to share their experiences, issues and challenges for effective implementation of NEP 2020 particularly in technical education.

Papers for oral presentations should comply with the given format and specifications. Authors are requested to submit full length paper maximum 7 pages, double column A4 in MS word and PDF.
Papers submitted to this conference should contain original research/study and should not have been published or submitted for publications elsewhere. Papers having 10% OR less plagiarism will be accepted. Only the author(s) are responsible for any plagiarized submission. Authors should submit the plagiarism certificate, copyright form and submit registration fee only after the receipt of the acceptance of the paper.

Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh situated in the heart of India. It is a historical city of Nawabs and also known as City of Lakes. Earlier it was the capital of Gurjar Pratihar king Bhoj. The climatic condition is very pleasant with an average temperature of 15 C in the month of January. Some of the tourist attractions in and around Bhopal are – Tajul Masjid, largest Mosque of Asia and largest temple of Shiva at Bhojpur, Sanchi Sthupa, Birla Mandir Bhimbetika etc., The conference venue is at NITTTR, Bhopal which is located in this beautiful city of lakes.
National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, established in 1965, has the mandate to cross the regional boundaries and function as a resource institution at National and International levels for entire gamut of Technical Education Sector. The institute has been catering to the wide-ranging needs through innovations in Technical Education System as well as to the job market needs of the developing countries also. The institution is an active partner in SWAYAM Project of MHRD, Government of India to facilitate self-learning among practicing and potential teachers. One of the major strategies of the vision plan of the Institute is in line with NEP-2020. Ministry of Education and Siemens supported Center of Excellence in Digital Manufacturing and IR4.0 has recently been established at NITTTR, Bhopal and will function in close coordination with industry stakeholders. About 11 laboratories are established in the emerging technology areas under NITTTR-Siemens center of excellence. Institute is exploring possible ways of association to conduct joint academic programs in the emerging areas of technology such as Electrical Vehicle, Drone Technology, AR/VR Technology, IoT, Block Chain etc. Recently, NITTTR, Bhopal has started thirteen numbers of faculty development program under PM Gati Shakti Initiatives in logistic chain management.
Registered participants will be provided with boarding on a first- come-first –served basis inside the campus (Guest house and hostels on twin-sharing basis) on payment as per Institute norms. Utility charges of Rs. 400/- per person and per day will be the charges for our hostel on campus. No travelling allowance will be reimbursed.
