As part of our ongoing efforts to promote best-in-class scholarship and research, we facilitate interactions between eminent scholars and our faculty, students, participants of training programs, and interested individuals. To achieve this, the eminent scholars visit our campus and present their work. These opportunities not only keep us abreast of the latest research, but also allow our students and trainees to form partnerships with eminent scholars.

This year the themes for the lecture series are:

Is 21st Century Pedagogy a new approach? The 21st century pedagogy aims to develop skills and knowledge students need to succeed in the workplace, their lives, and as citizens. Throughout an individual's lifetime, the 21st century skills can be incorporated into their educational, career, and civic experiences. For many students, college is the most diverse environment they have ever encountered. Our educational system provides the opportunity for students to become the architects and actors of a better, more inclusive world. The foundation for this opportunity lies in the quality of education. Every discipline has the potential to enable diverse students to learn from one another, work together, solve problems, and envision possibilities together.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of it's people, culture and achievements. This year, celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the purpose of the ‘Eminent Lecture Series' is to share the vast and interesting knowledge of eminent experts of the technical teachers fraternity, while also providing a sense of community, allowing institute faculty from various disciplines to gather and providing faculty with the opportunity to learn about other disciplines.
