Dr. Seema Verma

Professor Seema Verma, Scholar of Electronics & Communication stream, is working as Professor of Electronics Engineering at NITTTR, Bhopal. Before joining NITTTR, she was working as Professor & Dean, School of Aviation, Banasthali Vidyapith, India. She is a member of expert committee of National Board of Accreditation (NBA) & NAAC and has visited more than 40 universities and engineering colleges of various parts of INDIA as evaluator for NAAC & NBA. She was appointed as Chairman of various Selection Committees by Ministry of Education. She is expert member of various committees of AICTE, UGC & DST. She is amongst few Master Trainer selected by AICTE for training educational leaders of Indian Academia. She is a recipient of Young Professional Award by Govt. of Telangana, IBM Mentor Award, Certificate of Appreciation from Texas Instruments, Certificate of Excellence in Education, Digital Seal from Institute of women of Aviation Worldwide[iWOAW], Global Education Excellence Awards, 2017, "Most Innovative Female Teacher of Electronics and Telecommunications in Rajasthan" by Prime time news channel. "Woman Professional of the Year-Bharat Gourav Award" by Department of Art & Culture, Government of Telangana at Hyderabad . She is associated with various scientific/professional societies such as Fellow of IETE, life Member of Indian Science Congress, Life Member, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), & member of International Association of Engineers, (IAENG). She has produced 25 Ph.Ds. Currently, 5 students are working for their doctoral work under her supervision in the areas of wireless sensor & Ad-hoc networks (Aircraft Ad-hoc Network). She has authored more than to 100 papers in various peer-reviewed Journals & Conferences. She has authored 6 books with renowned publishers. She has been granted 5 fully funded projects from DST, UGC & AICTE. She has been granted with three Indian Patents and has published 8 patents & has received 15 copyrights. She has been an expert for the Evaluation of research (Ph.D) thesis of various Indian Universities, NITs and Central Universities. Her areas of research are Wireless Communication, AI in VLSI, Semiconductor technology.
