Department have successfully completed a sponsored project by DST, Govt of India with the title: Prof.S.S. Bhatnagar memorial lecture series”.

As a part of project “S. S. Bhatnagar Memorial Lecture Series for Popularization of Science” funded by DST Govt. of India, the department organized the lectures of eminent scientists like Bharat Ratna Prof.C.N.R.Rao, Prof. Sourav Pal,Prof. Girjsh Govil Prof. C. L. Khetrapal,Prof. Lallan Mishra, Prof. B. R. Srinivasan,Prof. S. P. Gupta,Prof. Mrs. Sulabha Kulkarni, Prof. J. P. Mittal, Prof. Kunal Roy, Prof Alireza Ashrafi from university of Kashan were invited for popularization of science.


9.8 CONSULTANCY PROJECTS FOR ACADEMIA/INDUSTRIES/FIELD AGENCIES

Faculty members of the DASE are engaged as coordinator for consultancy based faculty Induction Program (FIP) under PMMMNMTT of TLC ( Teaching learning Center) awarded by MHRD ( MOE).

9.9 EXTENSION SERVICES

Department is involved in Vetting of laboratory equipment for Physics, Chemistry, Plastic & Pharmacy laboratories for polytechnic colleges of various states of western region.

9.10 DISTANCE LEARNING MODE

Department had developed learning resources for applied sciences for distance learning courses for Gujarat states.
