Academic Programmes

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DCEEE) offers a wide range of programs, including Ph.D., M.Tech, PG Diploma, and Diploma courses in various specialized areas. Ph.D. PROGRAMME:

The department actively contributes to cutting-edge research in areas such as highway materials, soil-structure interaction, multifunctional smart composites, computational solid mechanics, AI & ML in CAE. Doctoral candidates engage in both theoretical and application-oriented research aligned with national and global challenges.

M.Tech. PROGRAMME

 The department is offering M.Tech programme in Transportation Engineering and Management from the AY 2025-26. The total number of seats are 18.

AICTE Quality Improvement Programme (QIP)-M.Tech. and Ph.D. Programmes

The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering Education (DCEEE) is offering AICTE Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) for the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degree programs. These programs are specifically designed for faculty members working in AICTE-approved institutions to enhance their qualifications and contribute to the quality enhancement of technical education in the country.

1. QIP M.Tech. PROGRAMME:

M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering & Management

2. QIP Ph.D. PROGRAMME:

Research Areas: highway materials, soil-structure interaction, multifunctional smart composites, computational solid mechanics, AI & ML in CAE.

INTERNSHIP

Department is offering short term (2 months) and long term (6 months) internships programs for the students pursuing UG and PG programs in Civil and allied disciplines.



Ph.D Programme

The Department is engaged in conducting research in Civil and Environmental Engineering and allied disciplines. Research scholars are encouraged to pursue both applied and theoretical studies contributing to innovations in teaching, learning, and technology deployment.
